The San Jose Sharks host the Arizona Coyotes tonight in their final game before the NHL's holiday break.
Yesterday, the Sharks dropped a 3-2 overtime matinee game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Erik Karlsson led the Sharks skates in points, picking up two assists that pushes his assists streak to a career-high eight games. Lukas Radil scored the first goal for the Sharks late in the third period. Joe Pavelski added on his team-leading 23rd goal with 31 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime.
The Sharks and Coyotes met for the first time this season earlier this month in Arizona, where the Sharks pulled out a 5-3 win over the Desert Dogs that saw five different Sharks score.
It was announced prior to tonight's game that the Sharks will be without Erik Karlsson, who was suspended two games for his hit on Austin Wagner.
