Special minor hockey initiatives and ticket promotions at select Senators home games

Each of the three Senators home games during Minor Hockey Week (Oct. 24 vs. Los Angeles Kings, Oct. 26 vs. Philadelphia Flyers, and Oct. 30 vs. Montreal Canadiens) will feature local minor hockey players and officials joining the Senators and the night's league officials for the national anthems on the team's blue line. Select games will also feature initiation aged minor hockey players taking part in the Tim Hortons Timbit Challenge during the first intermission.

Minor hockey teams and players are invited to attend each Senators home game during Scotiabank Minor Hockey Week with tickets at special rates for select games by using the promo code MHWEEK at

Minor hockey players attending Senators home games are encouraged to wear their minor hockey jersey to receive a ballot upon entering Canadian Tire Centre for exclusive prizes throughout the game including the chance to win autographed items and movies for a year courtesy of Scotiabank and the Senators.

Additionally, fans who purchase tickets to see the team host either the Kings or the Flyers will receive a Senators toque and matching mitts. For those purchasing tickets to see the Canadiens' visit to Canadian Tire Centre, a $10 credit will be added to the value of the tickets which can be redeemed on venue concessions, including the venue's new hot dogs - the best in Ottawa - or at the Sens Store. Senators Alumni clinics return to Canadian Tire Centre during Minor Hockey week, featuring former Senators players Chris Phillips and Shaun Van Allen. Phillips and Van Allen will share insight on puck control, speed and agility and help lead specific drills to provide local minor hockey players with instruction on how to improve their hockey skills.

15th Annual Tim Hortons Coaches Clinic
Sunday, Oct. 29, from 7:45 a.m. to Noon.

The 15th Annual Tim Hortons Coaches Clinic returns to Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, Oct. 29. Held free of charge for all classifications of coaches, the clinic will feature an introductory welcome by Senators head coach, Guy Boucher, followed by individual demonstration sessions related to goaltending with Senators goaltending coach Pierre Groulx, skill development with Senators associate coach, Marc Crawford, and Senators assistant coach, Martin Raymond; effective ice utilization and defensive zone coverage led by prominent hockey instructors from Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO). Each participant will receive a Tim Hortons Coaches Clinic handbook containing tips regarding the on-ice drills, opportunities to win great prizes courtesy of Tim Hortons and the Senators and will also be able to watch the Senators practice following the instructional sessions.
