Despite North Dakota being swept by Cornell over the weekend, Sanderson still managed to score three points as he made his return from the short-lived 2022 World Juniors.
He had two assists Friday in a 4-3 loss before he tallied another helper Saturday in a 3-1 loss to push his point streak to five games.
Sanderson's 22 points this year are tied for the most on the Fighting Hawks and ranks second in the NCAA among all blueliners. The Fighting Hawks are 8-2-0 in NCHC action this season and lead the conference.

Sokolov notched an assist on Jan. 3 in the loss to Toronto and after he was held pointless Friday, he buried two goals Saturday, the first of which came on the power play, in Belleville's comeback win over Springfield.
The Russian's 18 points are the second most on the team while his 68 shots are a team high. His 0.78 points-per-game average is tied for the team lead.
