  • Filip Chytilscored both of the Rangers goals - his second multi-goal game of the season (Jan. 5 vs. MTL), and established a new career-high in goals (15), the third most on New York. Chytil has points in seven of his last 10 games (7G-4A).
    - Kaapo Kakko recorded an assist for his 23rd point (9G-14A) of the season, tying his career-high from his rookie season. Kakko has notched five assists/points in his last four games.
    - Alexis Lafreniere extended his point-streak to three games (1G-3A), the longest point- streak of his season. This is his fifth different point streak of his career.
    - Will Cuylle made his NHL debut tonight. Cuylle is the first Toronto native to make his NHL debut in the city since Connor Brown for the Maple Leafs on March 17, 2016 against the Panthers. He is the first Toronto native to make his NHL debut in Toronto for a team other than the Maple Leafs since Kirk Tomlinson of the North Stars on Feb. 24, 1988 and is the second Toronto native to make his NHL debut in the city while playing for the Rangers (Jim Drummond on Jan. 9, 1945).
