What was the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?
I wanted to be doctor when I was a kid. I loved taking care of people and learning about the human body. When I got older, I realized that chemistry wasn't my favorite subject and when I took my first course in computer science I was hooked.

When I was 17 years old, I joined the Royal Canadian Air Force as an Officer Cadet, and I studied computer engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada. The military has taught me valuable skills that I continue to use such as time management, teamwork and ability to venture outside my comfort zone.

I grew up in a very athletic household and played many different sports. I started skating and playing hockey when I was young and continued playing competitive hockey until high school. I started playing volleyball in grade 8 and this quickly became my primary sport.
