The gold-medal winning United States women's hockey team had a whirlwind Monday, but Tuesday the may have reached an even bigger stage.

The 23 members of the U.S. team were guests of "The "Ellen DeGeneres Show," where they were honored by having their jersey hung in the studio.

The U.S. team, who won gold at the Pyeongchang Games with a 3-2 win against Canada on Wednesday, was celebrated by the Los Angeles Kings at their game against the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday. But Tuesday, they offered host Ellen DeGeneres an autographed stick and a personalized jersey to show appreciation for her support of the team.

DeGeneres countered by making theirs the second jersey to hang in the studio, with Drew Brees of the NFL's New Orleans Saints being the other.

It was the second time the U.S. team appeared on Degeneres' show. The silver-medal winners from the Vancouver Games were invited in 2010, and five from that team was on the show Tuesday.
