Train to play NHL Coors Light Stadium Series

PITTSBURGH - The National Hockey League (NHL) is pleased to announce that Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-selling band Train will now entertain fans at the
2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™
, the much-anticipated regular-season outdoor game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Heinz Field - home of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. The primetime matchup, including the band's first intermission performance, will be broadcast live from Pittsburgh at 8 p.m. ET in the U.S. on NBC and in Canada on Sportsnet and TVA Sports 2.
The 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ will feature an intrastate rivalry game between the Penguins and the Flyers. This regular-season outdoor matchup at Heinz Field will celebrate the 50th anniversary of both the Penguins and Flyers, who were introduced to the NHL® as part of the six-team 1967 NHL expansion.

The weekend celebration will begin with The PreGame, the official tailgate party of the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™. The PreGame will be free and open to the public from 3 - 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 24 (in the parking lot only) and Saturday, Feb. 25. A ticket will NOT be required for access. All guests, including children, must consent to a search of their person and anything they are carrying. Metal detectors will be located at The PreGame and Stage AE entry gates. Originally from San Francisco, Train has had 14 songs on Billboard's Hot 100 list since the release of their debut self-titled album.
