Manning at Devils game split

Eli Manning still has a lot of work to do on his hockey playoff beard, and his daughter made sure he knows it.

In a social media video posted by the League, a mic'd up Manning – taking in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round on Sunday with two of his daughters – asks how his playoff beard is looking.

His daughter did not hold back on her answer.

“Horrible,” she said, and that was that.

The New Jersey resident sat along the glass for the game, cheering on the New Jersey Devils with his daughters, and the three had some great reactions to all the action on the ice.

Sitting directly behind the net, Manning told his daughters not to flinch if a puck hit the glass in front of them. When the puck eventually came flying, the girls kept their composure. Manning? Not so much.

He went on to explain to his daughters that he makes weird noises when he’s watching hockey (some of which we saw first-hand in the video), then when Nico Hischier scored on their side of the ice, the three went crazy in celebration.
