Oshie

His team may have lost, but T.J. Oshie won a doughnut Monday.

The Washington Capitals forward scored a goal against the New York Islanders, therefore earning a doughnut in a deal with his youngest daughter Leni.

Oshie's wife Lauren shared the adorable exchange on Instagram as Oshie was leaving for the rink Monday. Leni, 3, says "I will get you a doughnut" if he scored a goal, and Oshie delivered during the second period of Washington's 5-3 loss to New York.
"It was pretty crazy last night, and then this morning talk to Lauren, her mentioning how much Instagram had blown up," Oshie said. "It's funny what social media can do to just a cute little girl."
Oshie got his doughnut Tuesday, and Leni even picked some up for the rest of the Capitals.
"It was a cake doughnut, and it was cinnamon [and] sugar, then vanilla drizzle on top," Oshie said. "I didn't know if I was going to be getting a donut … but it was delicious this morning, and Leni treated the guys. We got some doughnuts for all the guys back in the locker room."
