Mikhail Sergachev will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Friday.

The Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman is facing discipline for an illegal check to the head of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitchell Marner.
The incident occurred at 17:48 of the first period in the Lightning's 2-1 overtime loss at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Thursday. Sergachev was given a minor penalty for an illegal check to the head. Marner remained in the game.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
