Eleven, Dustin, Mike, Lucas and Will are back for the third season of "Stranger Things," but now there's a furry green alien in the mix?
The Dallas Stars were one of several teams to celebrate the return of the hit Netflix series on social media. The show's latest season premiered on Thursday and the Stars went all out, recreating
in which a terrified scientist is being chased by a mysterious entity. In Dallas' version, the shadowy figure isn't the Demogorgon, it's none other than team mascot Victor E. Green, who doesn't appear to want to cause any harm, unlike the reptilian demon.
The video's introduction was also a friendly reminder of the beefed up roster the Stars will be rolling out for the upcoming season, which includes free agent signings Joe Pavelski and Corey Perry. The Montreal Canadiens gave a shout out to their own beloved Eleven, forward Brendan Gallagher.
And the New York Rangers threw it back to when they had one of the show's stars, Gaten Matarazzo, sing the national anthem before their game on Dec. 1, 2017.
