Bortuzzo cup

All that winning and celebrating was bound to work up an appetite, so St. Louis Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo took some time to enjoy a snack out of the Stanley Cup.

Bortuzzo brought the trophy to his hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario for an event with the locals and a visit to a children's health facility before taking it out on the water for a boating trip with a platter of meats and cheeses.

"I'll never be able to truly repay what this community has meant for me and my career in terms of growing up playing hockey as a young kid here," Bortuzzo
told tbnewswatch.com
. "It meant a lot for me to come and give the chance for some people to see it and put some smiles on faces at George Jeffrey [Children's Centre]. It was an easy decision to share it with a great community."

After all the daytime activities, Bortuzzo had evening party with the Cup and chronicled his day through a series of photos in a post on his Instagram page.
