Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas scored from the red line against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
Gudas was on the right-wing boards when he took a slap shot that went past goaltender Curtis McElhinney's right-hand blocker at 11:45. It was Gudas' first goal of the season and eighth in his 184 NHL games.

It was Gudas' first goal in 66 games, dating to Dec. 4, 2014, when he was with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"It feels awesome," he said. "I'm not going to say I expected it. I just dumped it in from the red line. Luckily, it went in and I'm glad it's behind me."
Gudas also scored in the third period and has two assists for his first four-point game in the NHL.
