There's more than a spot in the Stanley Cup Final at stake in the New York Islanders vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup Semifinals.

Nassau County executive Laura Curran and Tampa mayor Jane Castor

on the series with the spoils including food, beer and cigars.
If the defending champion Lightning defeat the Islanders for the second straight season, Castor will receive a collection of Long Island delicacies, including pizza from Borelli's Restaurant in East Meadow, bagels from Blue Line Deli and Bagels in Huntington [likely their famous blue and orange Islanders-themed bagels] and the Islanders signature beer, Barn Rocker from Oyster Bay Brewing Company.
"The Islanders are coming for the Cup," Curran said in a statement released by her office. "Everyone knows that Long Island has the best pizza and bagels and finest selections of craft beers, but I'm confident that our package will be staying on the Island."

If the Islanders upset the Lightning, Castor will ship a case of beer and a box of cigars north. But, of course, she does not expect to be shipping anything after the series.
"Lord Stanley has grown quite comfortable here," Castor said. "We aren't giving up that title anytime soon."
The Stanley Cup Semifinals begin Sunday at 3 p.m.
