wiffle plus caps

The Pittsburgh Penguins are covering all the bases at Fenway Park.

One day ahead of the 2023 NHL Discover Winter Classic, the team was in full on visiting Boston mode.
During their outdoor practice, the Penguins donned Boston scallys, the famous flat, tweed caps instantly recognizable as a staple in New England.

"It's cool. It was kind of something that we agreed upon, something we wanted to do as just something a little different," Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry said.
The hats really completed the look for the team picture, which came out perfect.

"I don't know whose idea it was, but we all got 'em here in our stalls. So, we figured hey let's do them for our picture," Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson said. "It'd be a cool look. I think it was a pretty good idea whoever came up with it."
"I don't know if I've ever put one on, but I like it," Penguins forward Jason Zucker said.
The game, of course, will be played the famous baseball cathedral, so the team had to squeeze in some swings, even if it was with a Wiffle Ball bat.

Safe to say the Penguins are fitting in as they get ready for the showdown in Beantown.
