The Rangers, who lost 5-3 at the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, are 2-0-3 in their previous five home games and 9-1-3 at home since Oct. 23. Henrik Lundqvist is expected to start in goal for the Rangers after Alexander Georgiev started against Toronto.

Rookie goalie Carter Hart started the past three games for the Flyers, the first three under coach Scott Gordon, who replaced Dave Hakstol on Monday. Hart won the first two before allowing four goals on 19 shots against Columbus.

They said it

"I think we've had a level of consistency in the three games to know that we're starting to build some momentum as to how we want to play." -- Flyers coach Scott Gordon
"Regardless of the outcome, our process and our game is continuing to improve. I've seen the young guys take tremendous strides every single night. There's less thinking, more reacting. Guys are trusting their instincts, tilting the ice a lot more than we have been, especially against some pretty good teams." -- Rangers forward Chris Kreider
