Mason Stadium Series Mask

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Steve Mason chose a simple look for the mask he'll wear at the 2017 Coors Light Stadium Series against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Feb. 25 (8 p.m. ET; NBC, SN, TVA Sports 2, NHL.TV).

The black matte design of the mask matches the black jerseys the Flyers will wear as well as Mason's all-black pads, glove and mask.

"He said I'd really like to just do two Flyers logos on each side and the name plate and that's it and go really flat, black stealth, so I'll look all blacked out," said Franny Drummond, who designed the mask. "It's pretty simple."
Drummond has designed Mason's previous Flyers masks, all of which have featured zombie themes, from zombie versions of historical figures like Betsy Ross and Benjamin Franklin, to famous Flyers like Bobby Clarke and Bernie Parent, to current teammates Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds and Jakub Voracek.
