The toast of Philadelphia showed up at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday.

Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson, whose team routed the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game to earn a berth in Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots next Sunday, was on hand to drop the ceremonal first puck before the Philadelphia Flyers played the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Pederson, clad in a No. 18 Flyers jersey with his name [and more than a handful of autographs] on the back, was greeted with thunderous applause as he walked out on the ice to drop the puck between Flyers captain Claude Giroux and Lightning captain Steven Stamkos.

Pederson got the full treatment before the game, meeting with the players and Flyers coaching staff. No word on if anyone submitted any ideas for trick plays to try and help out their football bretheren.
