All games on NHL Network in U.S., TSN and RDS in Canada
Switzerland vs. Austria (2 p.m. ET) -- The winner will finish fourth in Group B and earn a spot in the quarterfinals. Switzerland (0-0-0-3) has been outscored 13-5 in losses to Sweden (3-2), the United States (7-1) and Germany (3-2). Forward Rodwin Dionicio, who is listed on NHL Central Scouting's Players to Watch list for the 2023 NHL Draft, has no points and four shots on goal while averaging 16:55 of ice time in three games for Switzerland. "We need to battle hard against Austria, and then we get another game," Switzerland captain Simon Knak (Nashville Predators) said. "Our goal is to go to the quarterfinals, so we just need to win the game." Austria (0-0-0-3), which lost 7-0 to the United States on Saturday, still is seeking its first win (0-20) in its fifth appearance at the top level of the under-20 tournament.
Canada vs. Finland (6 p.m. ET) -- The winner will earn the top seed in Group A. Forward Mason McTavish (Anaheim Ducks) leads the tournament with 10 points (six goals, four assists) in three games and linemate Connor Bedard, the projected No. 1 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, has five points (two goals, three assists), including a point in all three games, for Canada (3-0-0-0). "I think our overall game is getting better and that's the goal," McTavish said. "Especially in a short tournament, getting better every game is the key." Finland (2-1-0-0) went 5-for-7 on the power play in a 9-3 win against Slovakia on Sunday. Joel Maatta (Edmonton Oilers) and Kasper Simontaival (Los Angeles Kings) each scored two goals in the victory. Finland leads the tournament with a 61.5 percent power-play efficiency (8-for-13). "I think we're ready but it's going to be a big challenge for us," Finland coach Antii Pennanen said. "Obviously we need to keep the puck for sure because that's to our strength." Finland, which finished third at the 2021 WJC, last won the World Juniors in 2019.
Sweden vs. Germany (10 p.m. ET) -- The winner will finish second in Group B. Sweden (2-0-0-1) lost 3-2 to the United States on Sunday. Emil Andrae (Philadelphia Flyers) had a goal and an assist in the third period when Sweden scored consecutive goals to pull within one. Jesper Wallstedt (Minnesota Wild) is 1-1 with a 2.54 goals-against average and .922 save percentage in two games for Sweden. "We got to take it game by game and can't worry about who we'll play in the quarterfinal round," Wallstedt said. "We're trying to finish as high as possible in Group B. We just have to concentrate on Germany; that's our focus now." Germany (2-0-0-1), which has qualified for the quarterfinal round, will go for its third straight win after a 3-2 victory against Switzerland on Saturday. "We want to play a really good game against Sweden to prepare for the quarterfinals," Germany forward Bennet Rossmy (2023 draft eligible) said. "Just play the way we want to play and then we will see how it goes." Forward Alexander Blank (2023 draft eligible) leads Germany with four points (three goals, one assist) in three games. The special teams battle could be key here: Sweden is 4-for-9 (44.4 percent) on the power play, while Germany is 8-for-10 (80.0 percent) on the penalty kill.
