After a thorough evaluation of his team's performance this season, Brad Treliving relieved head coach Glen Gulutzan and assistant coaches Paul Jerrard and Dave Cameron of their duties.
"These are never easy decisions," he said during his press conference on Tuesday afternoon at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
"Accountability lies with all of us. As a manager, I lead that charge. When you make a decision that I made today, there's lots of blame to go around … there's more than just the coach in terms of the failure we had this season."
"I came to this conclusion because I felt it needed to be done as we move forward."

While Treliving's evaluation continues, he did note that assistant coach Martin Gelinas, goaltending coach Jordan Sigalet and video coach Jamie Pringle will remain with the organization.
"There won't be any other further coaching moves at this stage."
The Flames missed the postseason by 11 points, putting up a 37-35-10 record and 84 points.
The next step for Treliving will be to evaluate the available coaching options and begin making a short list of candidates.
"We'll start on the coaching, we'll start that process today."
