Johansen, who has missed three games with an upper-body injury, and Hartnell, out for 13 games with a lower-body injury, skated and took line rushes for a third straight day, at the morning skate in Vancouver. Each was activated from injured reserve.
Center Kyle Turris, who has six points (one goal, five assists) in a four-game point streak, will play despite being hit in the face by a puck and leaving practice Monday.
Goaltender Pekka Rinne starts for the Predators, 8-1-2 in their past 11 games. Nashville's only regulation loss in that span was a 5-3 defeat against the Canucks at Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 30.
Goaltender Anders Nilsson will start for the Canucks, who have lost three straight games after winning their previous three.

Rinne is 7-1-1 with 21 goals allowed and one shutout in his past nine starts. He has held opponents to three goals or fewer in eight of them.
Canucks rookie forward Brock Boeser has scored in three straight games since linemate and No. 1 center Bo Horvat broke his foot.
