NEW YORK -- Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher has been fined $2,500 for roughing New York Rangers forward Barclay Goodrow during NHL Game No. 235 in New York on Tuesday, Nov. 16, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:27 of the third period. Gallagher was assessed a minor penalty for roughing and a misconduct.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
