But for the kids of the Sto-Ken-Rox Boys & Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania, Fleury's name will forever be attached to their brand new playground and indoor hockey rink.
The veteran of 13 seasons, who recently put forth a stellar effort as the Penguins rolled to the 2017 Cup, recently donated his time, money and effort to make the play area happen.
It began about three years ago with Fleury and his wife, Veronique, asking how they could make a difference in the community. And now it is a reality.
"The contribution that Marc and V have made to this community is unbelievable," Dave Soltesz, president of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, said in a feature video on the team's website. "You see here today, an unbelievable investment on their part. It's no different than what Marc's done in the community all these years."
