NEW YORK - Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for inappropriate gestures aimed at Calgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano during NHL Game No. 805 in Calgary on Tuesday, Feb. 9, the National Hockey League announced today.

The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
