Kings No. 1 goalie Jonathan Quick, who has been out since Oct. 28 because of knee surgery, appears ready to return as the backup to rookie Cal Petersen, who makes his seventh straight start. Quick is expected to start again on a three-game road trip that continues against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday and Calgary Flames on Friday.
The Kings defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 on Sunday but are 3-6-0 in their past nine games.
