Sneak peek inside T-Mobile Arena

Fans and prospective season-ticket holders for the new Las Vegas NHL franchise got a first glimpse into what hockey on The Strip will look like at an open house this week at T-Mobile Arena.
Members of the Las Vegas community were able to tour the state-of-the-art arena, pick out their seats for season-ticket packages and see the ice sheet laid down for the first time.

"It's beautiful," said Katie Pete, a new Las Vegas season-ticket holder. "It's clean and it's very modern. I'm excited to spend a lot of time here to watch games."
More than 5,000 fans came to T-Mobile Arena over the two-day open house. Among them were members of the Storm Youth Hockey Team, who had the honor of being the first players to take the ice at the new arena.

"The ability for them to come in and just check out the arena for the first time I think is invaluable," said Murray Craven, special adviser to the Las Vegas franchise. "Even for myself, to look and see where I would choose to sit or want my season tickets to be. It's good."

Shortly after the expansion franchise was approved in June, owner Bill Foley announced there were more than 15,000 deposits for season tickets. T-Mobile Arena's hockey capacity is 17,500.
