Luc Robitaille to guest star on 'The Odd Couple'

Hall of Fame forward will play himself on CBS sitcom, which airs Monday night @NHLdotcom

If you are going to air a sitcom episode where the plot revolves around hockey, you may as well add a Hall of Fame player to the mix.

CBS' "The Odd Couple," a reboot of the classic 1970s show, will have a special guest on Monday. Luc Robitaille, one of the best scorers in NHL history, will play himself opposite series stars Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon.

The name of the episode is "Batman vs. The Penguin" and the plot revolves around Perry's character, Oscar Madison, picking the winners of hockey games against a penguin at the local zoo.

We don't yet know what role the former Los Angeles Kings star will play on the show, which airs at 9:30 PM Eastern time on CBS.
