Islanders Looking To Sweep Ducks:

The Islanders beat the Ducks 3-2 in overtime in their home opener at Barclays Center on Oct. 16.
Josh Bailey scored a gorgeous game winner in that outing, dancing around Andrew Cogliano before burying on Ducks' goalie John Gibson. Brock Nelson and John Tavares scored the Islanders other two goals while Jaroslav Halak made 24 saves in the win.
The win was the Islanders third in a row against the Ducks, as they look to win four in a row against Anaheim for the first time ever.

Ryan Pulock on Road Trip:

Ryan Pulock accompanied the Islanders on their California for conditioning. Pulock has been on injured reserve since Oct. 21 with a lower-body injury.

Anaheim Ducks Notes:

After starting the season 0-3-1, the Anaheim Ducks have gone 9-4-2 and are in the mix in a crowded Pacific Division. All three California teams - Anaheim, LA and San Jose - are all tied with 21 points, so this game holds a lot of meaning for the Ducks, as well as the Islanders.
Corey Perry (4G, 11A) and Ryan Getzlaf (1G, 14A) are tied for the Ducks scoring lead with 15 points each, while Ryan Kesler leads the team with eight goals.
John Gibson and Jonathan Bernier have split the load over the past seven games, so it's unclear who will start in goal for Anaheim on Tuesday. Gibson is 2-2-1 over his last five starts, while Bernier has won three straight games.

Rickard Rakell Emerging For Ducks:

The Ducks have a new scoring threat behind Perry, Getzlaf and Kesler this season.
Rickard Rakell, the 23-year-old Swede, has 10 points (6G, 4A) in 10 games to start the season. This comes after Rakell scored a career-high 20 goals and 43 points last year.
Rakell is tied for second on the Ducks in goals with Jakob Silfverberg with six, but has played nine fewer games than Silfverberg and leading goal-scorer Ryan Kesler (8).
