With 4 goals in his last 6 games, including a pair of goals against the Maple Leafs last night, Magnus Paajarvi has shown good chemistry with his linemates Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Zack Smith and has been able to provide some secondary scoring recently.
"Our line has been feeling good the last couple of games," said Paajarvi following last night's 5-4 loss to the Leafs. "It's been nice that they stuck with us and we were able create some offence in Toronto."
Paajarvi's line has typically taken on more of a defensive role, drawing the tough assignments against the opposing team's top lines, and while they weren't able to lock down the decision against the Maple Leafs last night, he shared that success will follow with a complete effort on the ice.
"We've been playing good for 50 minutes over the last couple of games but we need 60 to win," he said. "It's a good thing we're right back at it against Anaheim because this one stings because we felt so good."
