Thankful Lindblom celebrates two years cancer free

Flyers forward shared photos of final day of treatment for Ewing's sarcoma

Oskar Lindblom is now cancer free for two years.

The Philadelphia Flyers forward

to celebrate the milestone and was full of gratitude for those who have treated and supported him since his Ewing's sarcoma diagnosis in 2019.
Early detection and treatments helped the veteran forward make his
inspirational return to the NHL

A thankful Lindblom

from his time at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, two years to the day he was pronounced cancer free. The photos he shared were of him with girlfriend Alma Lindqvist and members of the hospital staff.
Throughout his fight, NHL teams and players,
even from rival teams
, supported Lindblom, making up "Oskar Strong" shirts to wear for games. His Flyers teammates
all wore his jersey
before a game.
It's a milestone worth celebrating every year.
