This one's for the hockey moms.

NBC announcer Mike Emrick narrated a touching tribute to hockey moms and all moms everywhere on this very different Mother's Day.

NBC shared a video of NHL players in their formative years, including Sidney Crosby, Jack Hughes, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Ryan McDonagh playing hockey as children.

Emrick narrated some of their stories, highlighting USA women's national team captain Meghan Duggan, who is a first-time mom this year after giving birth to a son named George on Feb. 29.

The clip also tells the tale of Grace Sutter, a mom to six NHL players she raised on a farm in Viking, Alberta, Brent, Brian, Darryl, Duane, Rich and Ron.

Natalie Granato, mother of ex-NHL player Tony and the first-ever woman to be elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame Cammi, is also featured as is the mother of Boston Bruins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk and their memorable story from Mother's Day of 2019.

Emrick closed it with a message of hope for a brighter future after COVID-19 passes.

"Although this Mother's Day may not include the same in-person traditions as most, we want to thank those women who won't be having normal comfort on this day." Emrick said in the video posted by NBC Sports on Twitter. "Gallantly carrying on for the rest of us who remain in place, anticipating that day of virus victory and that Mother's Day next year will be more like that in Boston a year ago."
