Lafreniere lit up the QMJHL with 297 points in 173 games for Rimouski, and EA Sports expects him to do the same for the Rangers. The video game team ran a simulation that projected Lafreniere to score 452 goals and 1,663 points in 1,582 NHL games. That total would put him ninth on the League's career points list, just ahead of Joe Sakic (1,641) and behind Mario Lemieux (1,723).
In addition to the impressive career numbers and Cup wins, Lafrieniere won a Calder Trophy, a Hart Trophy and a Ted Lindsay Award over the course of his video game career.
