Kalle Kossila said he always wanted to score a lacrosse-style goal, but the opportunity hadn't presented itself.
On Friday it did and the Anaheim Ducks prospect scored a dream goal for San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League in a 5-1 win against the San Jose Barracuda.

Starting from behind the goal, Kossila flipped the puck onto his stick blade and, as he skated around the side of the net, flipped the puck over the shoulder of San Jose goalie Troy Grosenick.

"It's not easy to do, but the puck just happened to stay on the top of the stick," Kossila said. "Their defenseman wasn't pressuring me, so I tried it."
Kossila's highlight-reel goal occurred four days after Buffalo Sabres forward Tyler Ennis tried to score his
own lacrosse-style goal
against the Dallas Stars on Monday.
