Eaves-lawn 6-24

Bringing baked goods to a new neighbor is a common practice, but what do you get for one that's pledged to stick around for a while? A bunch of plastic birds, of course.

Patrick Eaves
signed a three-year deal Friday
with the Anaheim Ducks, who he was traded to in February from the Dallas Stars.
When he woke up Saturday morning, he found his lawn was covered in fake waterfowls.

After joining the team as a potential rental player, he's in Anaheim to stay. And he picked a downright ducky neighborhood to plant his roots.
