Colorado has gone 5-0-1 in the past six games after going 0-4-1 in the previous five.

Stars forward Tyler Seguin has eight points (four goals, four assists) in the past eight games. He has 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) in 23 career games against the Avalanche. Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen has seven points (two goals, five assists) in a three-game point streak. He leads the NHL in scoring with 36 points (nine goals, 27 assists).
