PITTSBURGH -- Trevor Daley won't rule himself out of playing in the Stanley Cup Final for the Pittsburgh Penguins against the San Jose Sharks, but that sounds like a coping mechanism because the odds of him being able to walk without the use of crutches before mid-June are slim.
Daley has a broken left ankle, an injury he sustained in the second period of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning on May 20.
