The Blackhawks are 3-0-1 away from home and averaging four goals a game. Chicago is 3-1-0 in its past four overall and allowed one goal in each of the three wins.
The Blues are 1-3-2 in the past six games and coach Mike Yeo openly talked about his job security after a 7-4 home loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday.
The teams are playing for the third time this season; Chicago won the first two in overtime, 5-4 on Oct. 6 and 4-3 on Oct. 13.

Status report

Thomas will play after being a healthy scratch for the past four games. Yeo would not say who he would be replacing, but Kyrou was one of the last forwards on the ice at the end of the morning skate.
