New Jersey Devils left wing Michael Cammalleri, who has missed the past 23 games with a right hand injury, will miss the remainder of the season, the team announced Tuesday.

Cammalleri led the Devils with 38 points in 42 games at the time he was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 26. He sustained the injury during a win at the Ottawa Senators on Dec. 30, and missed the next eight games.

He returned to the lineup Jan. 19, with three assists in four games, but has been out of the lineup since Feb. 2.

Cammalleri has 41 goals and 80 points in 110 games with the Devils since being signed as a free agent on July 1, 2014. He has 277 goals and 582 points in 779 career NHL games.
