Capitals host young cancer patient at practice

T.J. Oshie and the Washington Capitals made a young fan's day on Friday.

The Capitals hosted MaKayla Russell, an 8-year-old girl diagnosed with cancer, during their practice.
Oshie met and talked with the youth hockey player after practice.
In an adorable video posted by the Capitals on Twitter, Oshie asks Russell what she likes to do in hockey. Of course, Russell's favorite thing to do is to score, just like Oshie.

After, the veteran forward signed and posed for a picture with the young fan.

The meeting was complete with a sweaty hug and big smiles all around.
