Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Trevor Daley spent Saturday with the Stanley Cup in his hometown of Toronto.
Daley endured a tumultuous season on and off the ice. His mom, Trudy, died of cancer shortly after the Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks in six games in the Cup Final. The 32-year-old was traded twice -- from the Dallas Stars to the Chicago Blackhawks on July 10 and from Chicago to Pittsburgh on Dec. 14 -- and broke his leg in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, costing him the final nine games of the Penguins' run to the Cup.
