Some kids at Disney World met one of the NHL's best players and they just had to get his autograph.

Not because San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns is a Norris Trophy finalist, but because they apparently thought he was part of the "Pirates of the Carribean" exhibit.

"I actually signed a bunch of autographs in kids' (Disney character) books for that. They thought I was a pirate. So I signed them. It was fun," Burns said in an interview shared by the Sharks. "We always try to dress up and have a good time every day there, so I can't blame the kids for thinking that."

Burns, in case you missed it, took the family to Disney World back in May and tweeted a picture of a
"family reunion" with Chewbacca
.
"We had a great family trip to Disney World. It was the first time for the kids. We usually go to Disney Land (in Anaheim, Ca.), so it was a lot of fun to go there (Disney World in Orlando, Fla.). We got to meet a long lost cousin. Chewy was great."
