Artem Anisimov

CHICAGO -- Artem Anisimov remains in concussion protocol and will not play when the Chicago Blackhawks face the Winnipeg Jets at Bell MTS Place on Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; TSN3, NBCSCH, NHL.TV).

The 30-year-old forward left the game after he was hit by Montreal Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber 50 seconds into the third period of Montreal's 3-2 win against the Blackhawks on Sunday. There was no penalty called on the play. Anisimov did not practice with the Blackhawks at MB Ice Arena on Monday nor travel with the team to Winnipeg.
"Yeah, he's been playing really well lately," Blackhawks coach Jeremy Colliton said. "So, it's unfortunate, both for him and the team. But, carry on."
Anisimov has 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 31 games. He scored three goals and one assist in his past six games.
The Blackhawks (9-17-5, 23 points) have lost seven straight games and are seventh in the Central Division.
