Wild Wing among nine vintage jerseys Ducks will wear this season

The Anaheim Ducks have been known for some spectacular uniforms through the years. So it's no surprise they'll be rolling out some of the best to help celebrate their 25th anniversary.

The Ducks will sport nine of their best vintage uniforms during warmups as part of their silver anniversary celebration this season.

Anaheim will remember each uniform from its 25-year NHL history, including the wacky Wild Wing jersey worn in three games during the 1995-96 season. Aside from unveiling their jersey theme nights, the Ducks posted
the origin story of each uniform
on their website.

The Ducks are selling a jersey tribute ticket plan, that will allow fans to see Anaheim wear each throwback in person. Included in the ticket package is Paul Kariya jersey retirement night Oct. 21 and the Ducks home opener against the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 8, where they will unveil
their new alternate jersey, a mashup of past uniforms
during the game and wear their original home jersey in warmups.
Fans can also purchase each jersey the day they are worn.
