A lack of offense continues to plague the Kings, who have lost five of their past six games at home and
six of eight overall. The Kings have scored eight goals in their past five games, losing four, including 4-1 to the Boston Bruins on Thursday. "When you're not scoring goals, obviously you're not going to win games, but I guess even though we gave up four, we only gave two up with the empty net, so we're happy with that I guess, but we've got to score more goals," defenseman Drew Doughty said. "That's the bottom line. We need to produce from everywhere. We can't have the same guys producing all the time." Peter Budaj is expected to start in goal. The Kings are five points behind the Nashville Predators for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the Western Conference. Los Angeles has the most home games (15) remaining of any NHL team. Coach Darryl Sutter needs one win to pass Andy Murray (215) for first on the Kings' all-time list.
