Tweet from @AnaheimDucks: Honoring our past. Recognizing the present. This Ryan Getzlaf bobblehead blends our #Ducks25 history to create, quite possibly, the greatest giveaway item in team history!Be here on March 20 to grab one: https://t.co/vPKDEu4yEu pic.twitter.com/ZXvNXXziUM
The doll is split between Getzlaf from when the Ducks selected him with the 19th pick at the 2003 NHL Draft, complete with hair, a No. 51 jersey, which he wore his rookie season, and a Mighty Ducks hat. The other half is a contemporary Getzlaf, with a shaved head and 2007 Stanley Cup champions ring while wearing the Ducks current third jersey.
The Ducks rolled out the doll as part of their 25th anniversary celebration, and called it "quite possibly the greatest giveaway in team history." We tend to agree.
