The Devils (12-7-6) are in Montreal to take on the Canadiens (17-6-3) in the first of back-to-back games for New Jersey. Here's what you need to know:

1) Head coach John Hynes said yesterday that Pavel Zacha will not play against the Canadiens and is still day-to-day after suffering a cut to his lip in Saturday's game against Nashville and subsequent dental work earlier this week. He also announced his goalie game plan for these back-to-back games. Cory Schneider will get the start tonight and Keith Kinkaid will start tomorrow at home against St Louis.

2) The Canadiens are dealing with some injury issues, especially at center with Alex Galchenyuk, who leads the team with 23 points (9g, 14a), and David Desharnais out for the next six to eight weeks with knee injuries.

3) Michael Cammalleri, who spent three seasons playing for Montreal and leads the Devils with nine goals thus far this season, is one point shy of 600 in his NHL career.
