The Lightning used their final selection at the 2019 NHL Draft in Vancouver to take McKade Webster, a 5-foot-10, 167-pound forward from the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL.
Webster is 18 years old and will turn 19 on July 28. He is a right-handed shot.
The St. Louis native played in just six games in 2018-19 for Green Bay, registering two assists. The previous season, he contributed 11 goals and 30 points in 58 games for the Gamblers.
Webster will play the upcoming season for the University of Denver.
