The Kings scored their first power-play goal in six games, going 1-for-3 on Monday night.

Kale Clague tallied his fourth assist of the season on Andreas Athanasiou's goal Monday night. 

Coyotes Notes:

The Coyotes are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. During that span, Arizona has averaged 3.6 goals per game, ranking third in the NHL during that time. 

Arizona ranks 24th in the NHL in shots against per game, averaging 31.4 SA/PG. 

Who to Watch:

Drew Doughty, who scored his eighth goal of the season and sixth on the powerplay to open scoring for the Kings on Monday against the Coyotes. His eight goals rank sixth among NHL defensemen and his six power-play goals are tied for first (Aaron Ekblad, FLA). His 16 power-play points this year rank third among NHL blueliners.

Michael Bunting, who recorded his first career hat trick against the Kings on Monday. Bunting has tallied five points (4-1=5) in four games this season.
