Seven players from the PAL Islanders u16/u18 teams were drafted in the United States Hockey League last week.
The USHL is the nation's top junior league and is among the largest feeder systems at the NHL Draft each year. The USHL draft selects players from North America and Europe.
"Having seven players selected in the draft from one organization on Long Island and wearing the Islander jersey shows the strides we are making," PAL Islanders Director of Player Evaluation Bob Thornton said.
