The New York Islanders extended their winning streak to four games, as they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 on Tuesday night at United Center.
Anders Lee, Brock Nelson and Zach Parise (ENG) scored for the Islanders in the win, while Jonathan Toews scored the lone goal for the Blackhawks on the power play. Nelson had the game-winner for the second consecutive game, and was the only Islander with a multi-point game.

The four-game run marks the longest win streak so far this season, as the Isles kick off a three-game Midwest road trip.

First Period:
17:35 - NYI 1, CHI 0 PPG - Brock Nelson slides a puck under Arvid Söderblom and Anders Lee ensures it gets across the line. Kyle Palmieri also picks up an assist.
Second Period:
No scoring.
Third Period:
8:23 - NYI 2, CHI 0 - Palmieri blocks a shot without his stick, and Ross Johnston recovers the puck and finds Nelson along the boards. Nelson finds open ice and scores on the breakaway. Johnston tallies his first point of the season.
10:19 - NYI 2, CHI 1 PPG - Jonathan Toews deflects a point shot from Caleb Jones on the power play. Patrick Kane also tallies an assist.
19:47 - NYI 3, CHI 1 - Zach Parise scores an empty-netter from distance. Josh Bailey picks up the assist.
